Researchers’ Night 2022-2023 in Hungary

The main aim of the project is to bring researchers closer to the general public, involve them in civic life and encourage young people, especially girls, to pursue a career in science. Researchers, their work and their hobbies will be presented in an interactive way that educates the public, especially students, about research and innovation, with an emphasis on co-creation, the role of R&I in society and the economy, the social relevance of EU research policy and improving science communication. During the two years, we will organise pre- and post-events called “Researchers in Schools” to keep students’ interest and support teachers in developing new and fun approaches to teaching priority topics such as digital, green and sustainable development, health, etc. Our main target group is students aged 6-26, but we want to appeal to all ages with attractive programmes and show that scientists and innovators can be found among us, and that being a researcher is really cool and creative! The programme is available throughout the country.
