VAST project

VAST Project aims to bring (moral) values to the forefront of advanced digitisation, and toinvestigate the transformation of core European Values, such as freedom, democracy, equality, therule of law, tolerance, dialogue, dignity, etc. across space and time. Through advanced techniquesand digital tools, VAST studies how the meaning of specific values have been expressed,transformed, and appropriated through time, and how moral values are communicated andperceived in modern societies.

BIOLOC- Biobased and social innovation to revitalise European local communities

RCISD is pleased to announce another winning project. We look forward to working with our partners. The aim of BIOLOC is to advance the role and impact of biobased and social innovation to revitalise European local communities to accelerate the all-inclusive transition to a resource-efficient and circular biobased production and consumption system. BIOLOC will blend methodological work with circumstantial actions focused in 12 European regions (IT, NL, ES, DE, GR, BG, SK, SL, HR, HU, RO, CZ) that have been selected based on their circular biobased economy (CBE) deployment potentials.

Researchers’ Night 2022-2023 in Hungary

The main aim of the project is to bring researchers closer to the general public, involve them in civic life and encourage young people, especially girls, to pursue a career in science. Researchers, their work and their hobbies will be presented in an interactive way that educates the public, especially students, about research and innovation, with an emphasis on co-creation, the role of R&I in society and the economy, the social relevance of EU research policy and improving science communication. New Horizon Europe projects

RCISD participated in four Horizon Europe proposals submitted in October, two of which won. One of the winner projects, the Researchers’ Night 2022-2023 will be coordinated by the Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development. The other project is BILOC; Biobased and social innovation to revitalise European local communities, coordinated by the Central European Initiative (CEI).
