Joint workshop of EUSDR Priority Area 7 & Danube-INCO.NET

A joint Priority Area 7 Steering Group & Danube-INCO.NET workshop took place on 10 December in Vienna.

The event started with an overview of the Danube-INCO.NET status quo. It allowed further the exchange of information from both sides and the validation of first deliverables´ results .

The analysis of main research and innovation stakeholders in the Danube Region and that of Projects results (i.e. a catalogue of selected methods/tools potentially to be transferred to the Region) were presented and debated. Yet the main focus of the workshop was given to the bibliometric analysis for the Danube Region conducted by ZSI on behalf of Danube-INCO.NET.  Though the results of such analysis are still intermediate they caught the attention of country representatives who  discussed them in workgroups and put forward ideas on how to improve the analysis further by bringing own expertise.

Finally  the occasion was appropriate to get a presentation by the Smart Specialisation Platform on Matchmaking and Effective R&I Information Exchange in the Danube.

At the attachments below you can find the presentations of the participants. It must be stated that the ”Bibliometric analysis of Danube region output” presentation reflects Danube-INCO.NET’s interim results.
