An informative article has been published yesterday in 24.hu, based on a recently published research paper of the Safeguard project.

At public spaces of cities in Western Europe and the USA, pollinator-promoting interventions are becoming more and more common and developed. In other regions (e.g. in Hungary), these are only beyond their first steps. A few years ago, the Lendület Ecosystem Services Research Group started a monitoring at urban areas. Here, our researchers sample the pollinators, flowering habitats and measure the effects of pollinator-promoting interventions in two larger cities in Hungary.
