The CEI, as partner of the EU FP7 funded project Danube-INCO.NET, responsible for the implementation of Work Package 3 “Tackling societal challenges: Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in a Bio-based Economy”, is attending the Project Information and Dissemination Event (PRIDE) in Opatija, Croatia, on 27-28 May 2015.

On 10th December 2014 the ener2i Workshop on Innovation in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy took place in Chisinau, Moldova. This event was organised by the local ener2i partners Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITT) and Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM) and gathered together 56 participants from Moldova, Georgia and several EU countries.
The ener2i Brokerage Event in the framework of the XIX Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum “ENERGY. ECOLOGY. ENERGY SAVING. ELECTRO” – ENERGY EXPO–2014 was held on 14 October 2014. Two researchers, Veronika Groma and Endre Börcsök from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences went to Minks to partecipate in the prestigeous event.

The Danube-INCO.NET project was successfully kicked-off on February 2nd and 3rd, 2014, at Palais Ferstel in Vienna. Upon the invitation of the Austrian coordinator (ZSI) and the Austrian Federal Ministry as project partner, all 19 project partner were invited to have a first joint meeting. After the presentation of the work to be done in the workpackages, many informal meetings and discussions took place in order to arrange the upcoming tasks and events.
