The 1st Clustering Workshop on the European Research Consortium (ERIC) was held at the CEI Headquarters in Trieste on 3 February 2015.The event was organised in the framework of the Danube-INCO.NET WP3 – Tackling societal challenges: Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in a Bio-based Economy.
Lessons learnt and good practices of the process of association to Framework Programmes and innovation supporting measures and policies were in the focus of the 2nd Stakeholders’ Forum of the project BILAT-UKR*AINA held on 27-28 January, Kyiv, Ukraine. Presentations of distinguished speakers being experts of these fields enriched the programme followed by discussions. The event was of high interest; more than 70 participants registered and attended.
The InoNet CA project is conducting a survey about the framework conditions and cooperation opportunities of STI in general and more particularly between the EU and the Central Asian countries. With the related questionnaire, addressing the five countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan), we would like to measure the development of potentials of bi-regional Science, Technology and Innovation cooperation over time. The survey will be repeated after 15 months to get comparative data for analysis.
The EUSDR Priority Area 7 – Knowledge Society Steering Group met in Vienna in December 2014 and, in such a circumstance, the Pilot Phase for labelling of Danube Region projects and proposals was launched.
The town of Baiona near Vigo in Galicia will be the location for the next S3 Platform Peer Review Workshop. Located near to the Portuguese region of Norte, the workshop will have a transborder theme.
