Danube-INCO.NET Policy Mix Peer Review visit in Bosnia Herzegovina

As concluded at the Kick off meeting in July 2015, the policy mix peer review visit will be held in Bosnia Herzegovina between 19 and 23 of October, 2015. The whole process of the policy mix peer review will be implemented to
  1. support the improvement of R&I policy mixes of the selected countries
  2. provide food for evaluation based on critical friend approach
  3. formulate policy recommendations

In the frame of the Danube-INCO.NET project, two policy mix peer reviews are planned; one to Bosnia and Herzegovina and one to Serbia.

The peer review visit will take five days with the participation of the leader and the peers. Interviews will be held each day with the officials, representatives of authorities and institutions responsible for any parts at any relevant level of the R&I policy mix.

The team members are Lajos Nyiri as Team leader; Virág Zsár as Rapporteur; Genovese Michele, Ülle Must, Adrian Pascu, Svend Otto Remøe, and Jean-Luc Clément as peers.

The schedule of the peer review visit is the following:

  • 19 October: interviews with decision-makers from the Republic of Sprska and the stakeholders from the University of Banja Luka
  • 20 October: interviews with stakeholders from scientific councils and innovation related stakeholders
  • 21 October: interviews with decision-makers from the Federation of Bosnia Herzegovina and stakeholders from Mostar based universities
  • 22 October: interviews with decision-makers from Bosnia Herzegovina and stakeholders from other universities
  • 23 October: interviews with NCPs, S&T analysts and innovators from Sarajevo

The outcomes of the peer review visit will be fed into the synthesis report which will summarize the actual R&I policy mix of Bosnia and Herzegovina and will formulate recommendations for possible improvements.
