In April 2015, Danube-INCO.NET finished the report on ‘Mapping of relevant stakeholders in Danube Region describing activities, positions, and good practices including recommendations for synergies’.
Lessons learnt and good practices of the process of association to Framework Programmes and innovation supporting measures and policies were in the focus of the 2nd Stakeholders’ Forum of the project BILAT-UKR*AINA held on 27-28 January, Kyiv, Ukraine. Presentations of distinguished speakers being experts of these fields enriched the programme followed by discussions. The event was of high interest; more than 70 participants registered and attended.
The EUSDR Priority Area 7 – Knowledge Society Steering Group met in Vienna in December 2014 and, in such a circumstance, the Pilot Phase for labelling of Danube Region projects and proposals was launched.
The project Danube.INCO-NET aims, among others, to support R&I policy dialogue mainly in the EUSDR Priority Area Steering Groups and to exchange information on existing stakeholders in the field of RI in the Danube Region. The Policy Stakeholders Conference (PSC) on ‘EU-Central Asia STI Cooperation in addressing Climate Change’, hosted by the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic and the National Library of Kyrgyzstan, was held in Bishkek on 23-24 September 2014. It was the first in a series of policy dialogue activities between the EU and CA organised under the IncoNet CA project.
The first IncoNet EaP Policy Stakeholders Conference successfully organised by IncoNet EaP took place in Yerevan on 15-16 May 2014. It was hosted by the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia (NAS RA). The focus of the Conference was on the EU-EaP STI cooperation in addressing the Societal Challenge of Climate Change.
