This was the 2nd Policy Stakeholders Conference (PSC) organised by the IncoNet EaP project and the 6th in a series of events targeting the Eastern Partnership region,which was started by its predecessor project IncoNet EECA. Focusing on ‘energy efficiency’, this year’s PSC was adjusted to the ‘ENERGY EXPO 2015’, which currently takes place in Minsk until 16 October 2015.
On the 10th of July 2014 participants from all over the region met in Belgrade to launch Danube-INCO.NET’s policy dialogue on how to work towards achieving the goals of the European Research Area (ERA) and the Innovation Union (IU). Recommendations are now available.
The Danube-INCO.NET project was successfully kicked-off on February 2nd and 3rd, 2014, at Palais Ferstel in Vienna. Upon the invitation of the Austrian coordinator (ZSI) and the Austrian Federal Ministry as project partner, all 19 project partner were invited to have a first joint meeting. After the presentation of the work to be done in the workpackages, many informal meetings and discussions took place in order to arrange the upcoming tasks and events.
Two new projects, ‘IncoNet EaP’ (STI International Cooperation Network for Eastern Partnership Countries) and ‘IncoNet CA’ (STI International Cooperation Network for Central Asian Countries) started with a joint kick-off event in Athens on 18-20 September 2013.
