In the frame of the Danube-INCO.NET project, the policy mix peer review visit in Serbia was held 26-30 September 2016.
The Triple-Helix Conference with the title Supporting the development of bio-based economy partnerships in the Danube Region through a triple-helix approach organised by the Danube-INCO.NET project took place in Budapest at Danubius Hotel Gellért on 19-20 July 2016.
Within this “upon invitation” workshop organized by the Danube-INCO.NET project more than 20 experts from 8 countries of the Danube Region (AT, BG, DE, MD, HU, RS, SI, SK) have gathered to discuss potentials and topics for a joint co-operation within a strategic activity of COST.
The triple-helix conference on bio-based economy “Supporting the development of bio-based economy partnerships in the Danube Region through a triple-helix approach” is one of the major events of the Danube-INCO.NET project. Its main objective is to support the university-business-government cooperation (triple-helix model) to enhance the establishment and development of bio-based economy partnerships in the target countries, tackling societal challenges in the field of food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, water research, bio-based economy and bio-energy.
This workshop is organised in the frame of Danube-INCO.NET project and tackles the smart specialisation (S3) strategy design for non-EU countries. The event is organised by the S3 Platform together with the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
The 2015 JRC Danube Annual Event was held in Ulm, Germany, last 27 – 28 October and was organised in cooperation with partners from the Region to take stock of the scientific support to the Danube Strategy. Conclusions from the event and presentations are now available.
