The upcoming conference will address ‘Health’ as a focus area of EU-Central Asia Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation. IncoNet EaP’s 3rd Policy Stakeholders’ Conference will take place in Warsaw on 16-17 May 2016.
The InoNet CA project is conducting a survey about the framework conditions and cooperation opportunities of STI in general and more particularly between the EU and the Central Asia countries. With the related questionnaire addressing the six countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan), we would like to measure the development of potentials of bi-regional Science, Technology and Innovation cooperation over time. Following the first round in 2015 the survey is repeated to get comparative data for analysis.
In the framework of the Young Researchers Forum in Central Asia that will take place on 9 June 2016, in Bishkek/Kyrgyzstan, up to 5 Central Asia young researchers will be selected by the organising committee of the forum to present their research and how this could match with open or forthcoming topics of Horizon 2020 on climate change, energy or health.
Under the support of the IncoNet Central Asia project, energy experts (in the fields of solar technology, photovoltaic, heating and cooling, ecological building material, etc.) from Central Asia participated at the Energy Days Graz event, an international Energy Efficiency brokerage event. On 13 January RCISD provided H2020 training back-to-back with the brokerage event for the experts from Central Asia.
The brokerage event “Energy Days Graz 2016” will take place on 14th January 2016 for fair exhibitors, visitors and experts in the sectors of energy efficient construction.
Under the support of the IncoNet Eastern Partnership and IncoNet Central Asia projects, energy and water experts from Eastern Partnership countries and Cental Asia participated at the Aquamatch Amsterdam brokerage event and H2020 training organised by RCISD on 4-5 November in Amsterdam.
