INNOVER-EAST held its 1st Policy Event on 8 July 2015 in Yerevan at the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia to present the first results of the national studies on energy efficiency innovation and its bottlenecks – compiled by the project.

The results were presented and discussed by EU and EaP experts during the one-day event where other related projects were also introduced including ener2i aiming at increasing the level of innovation in the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries of the EU.

ener2i was presented by a representative of a project partner, Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development. Several opportunities offered by the project –  Study Visits to Germany and Armenian Voucher Scheme – were introduced, moreover the synergies between the ener2i Country Reports and INNOVER-EAST National Studies were highlighted.

The event was attended by participants from the following EaP countries: Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
