Innovation Voucher Competition review meeting and final CEI-ener2i-MD project event in Moldova on 26th January

In the ener2i / CEI-ener2i-MD Innovation Voucher Competition in Moldova 2015, the applicants of the eleven best project ideas have been awarded with Innovation Vouchers worth € 4,000 each in last spring (http://ener2i.eu/innovation_vouchers/moldova). The competition was supported by the EU FP7 project ener2i, and the Central European Initiative and the Austrian Development Cooperation through the CEI-KEP Austria programme.

On January, 26th, 2016 the CEI-ener2i-MD project team from the Austrian ZSI and its Moldovan partners from AITT and ODIMM will meet with the voucher grantees and representatives of the Austrian Development Cooperation in Chisinau, Moldova, to review the implementation and outcomes of all funded Moldovan projects. The event will be opened by Mr Roman Chirca, Director of the Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITT) of Moldova, and Mr Manfred Spiesberger, ener2i /CEI-ener2i-MD project coordinator from ZSI – Centre for Social Innovation, Austria. The opening remarks will be followed by presentations of each project and a closing discussion on the implementation and outlook for innovation voucher competitions.

At the same time the review event is the final event of the CEI-ener2i-MD project. This opens up the opportunity to reflect on past project activities and to reflect on further collaboration possibilities between Europe and the Eastern Partnership countries in the energy sector in the future.
