ener2i Workshop on Energy and Innovation, and Brokerage Event in Yerevan, Armenia

Both events are intended for stakeholders, researchers and companies from Armenia, EU countries and countries associated to the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme. The events are embedded in the Sixth International Renewable and Clean Energy Conference and Exhibition (2-3 October 2015).

The main aim of the workshop is to provide state of the art information on energy and innovation issues. Furthermore, it aims at facilitating the knowledge transfer from academia to business, and at raising awareness of commercialisation instruments for research organisations, start-ups and SMEs, and innovation agencies. It will cover issues such as innovation in renewable energy and the situation in Germany, innovation policy, and bioresource utilisation for energy.

In the afternoon, the ener2i Brokerage Event Armenia will take place. ener2i invites research institutions, universities, companies and Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs), as well as business support organisations and other interested stakeholders with innovation targets in Renewable Energy Sources or energy efficiency from Armenia, the European Union, Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries, and beyond to participate in the ener2i Brokerage Event on energy innovation in Yerevan, Armenia.

The ener2i Brokerage Event provides an opportunity for enhancing the cooperation between Armenian research organisations and businesses, and for establishing direct contacts and partnerships between Armenian and foreign academic and business representatives, especially those from the EU and EaP countries. Part of the agenda will therefore be dedicated to face2face meetings and networking. Face2face meetings serve to find potential partners, to present competences, to discuss new project ideas and initiate partnerships for bi-lateral cooperation, or for joint projects in the EU’s Horizon2020 Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020).

How does it work?
Both events are free of charge, however registration is mandatory through filling in a registration form. Registration will be open soon.
