Grosschmid, Péter – Communications Adviser

grosschmid-peter Studies: He studied Chemistry at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest (ELTE) Faculty of Science (TTK), received his MSc in 1974.

 Career: Mr. Grosschmid started his career at the Publishing House of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences as editor of scientific publications. Later he was a research fellow at the Institute of Science Management and  Informatics, then became technical secretary to the CEO of Gedeon Richter pharmaceutical company. From 1985 he took the position of sales manager of CompuDrug Ltd. From 1990 till 1993 he worked as commercial  officer at the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Budapest. From 1993 to 1997 and from 2001 to 2006 he was science and technology counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Hungary in Helsinki, Finland. Between  the two postings he was the director of communications of the National Committee for Technological Development (government agency) and communications adviser to the President of the Hungarian Patent Office.  Since 2007 as CEO of TP ImageWorks he has taken part in the work of several international conferences coordinating media activities. Currently he is the press officer the Researcher Night project.

He joined RCISD as communications adviser in 2015, being press officer of the Researchers Night project.
